| Now that I have your attention :), I'd like to let you know about a cool Android application called Torque Pro. You can find it easily in the Market. It talks to an OBD-|| car to obtain all sorts of information from various sensors, as well as read/clear codes. It also can record video overlaid with info from sensors. One needs to get an OBD|| Bluetooth adapter as well, so the app can talk to the car. So, I decided to get my feet wet with Android development and the result is the Shift Lights plug-in for Torque. Also available on the Market for free (La-Z-Link ) The main idea is to provide a visual indication about a certain RPM where a shift to a higher gear would be highly beneficial for the engine longevity and better track time.
